|CD Storage Trucks
George writes: These are actually CD racks built for my niece and nephew. Each can hold 28 CDs in the dump body of the truck. Except for a few pieces of dowel, they are made entirely of wood from old pallets and wine crates. Details not visible in the photo include seats, steering wheel and dash inside as well as all lights, mudflaps, etc. on the outside. The lettering on the side was done with a woodburning iron. Finally, they were dunked in Watco's Danish Oil.
|Rolling Clamp Rack
George writes: After looking at designs in several magazines, I picked features I liked the best from all of them and came up with what you see here. It is almost 5 feet tall, 14 inches wide, and 24 inches long. As you can see in the split photo, it holds plenty of clamps and has a tray on top that holds my glue bottles as well. The far end, not visible in the photos, will eventually have a rack for pipe clamps.
Construction is of 1/2 inch plywood with pine and oak for the clamp hangers.

|Planer Cabinet in Hunter Green
George writes: This cabinet has shelves for all my quart size and spray paint cans. It is made of 3/4 in. Luan plywood, face frame and doors are Oak. I decided to go with 4 wheels instead of handles so it could be slipped sideways into small spaces between other power tools when not in use. The planer infeed and outfeed tables, shown here, fold up against the face of the machine when not in use. This gives the entire unit a depth measurement of only 18 inches when folded.
