|Western Style Shelves
These are two Western Style Shelves I made out of Pine. The top edge of each shelf is bordered with a piece of rope inlayed into a dado created with a bull nose router bit. The horse shoes are right off a couple of horses my neighbor has and the pegs are square nails.
|Kid's Electric Train Table
The picture on the left is of the Kid's Electric Train Table I made for my Grandson. to set-up his trains on. It measures 56" long x 45" wide x 18" high. It is made of Pine and the two drawers are 20" x 20" x 3" deep to store any extra pieces of the train set. The top is made of Russia Birch plywood and covered with a simulated grass paper mat. It is stained in Honey Pine and finished with spray-on Lacuer. The two pictures on the right are close-ups of the drawer pulls my wife suggested I use, I think that they really make the table. This is an Arbor I built for my wife. I got the plans from PlansNOW and it is called the Weekend Arbor, because you can actually built it in a weekend. The plans are fairly simple and the end result is a great looking Arbor. The plans come with add-ons such as a bench seat, a gate, and side fencing if you would like to punch-it-up alittle. Made from Pressure Treated Southern Yellow Pine and finished with Spar Polyurethane. The dimensions are approx. 84" T x 65" W x 26" D.

|New Folding Adirondak Chair/Lounger
I built these for our patio. These Adirondak Chair have wheels on the rear legs for easy movement, the foot stool pulls-out like a drawer, and they fold-up for easy storage. Made from Pressure Trearted Southern Yellow Pine and finished with Spar Polyurethane. I purchased the plans from Leichtung Workshops, the plans are rather unique in that they come with full size templates that require no measurements, just trace and cut. Step-by-Step instructions, materials list, and easy-to-follow cutting list are included. To order these plans, call 1-800-321-6840 and order Item #123257 - Adirondak Chair/Lounge Templates.
|Patio Hybrid Glider
This is a Glider I built for our patio. I built this using ideas from several different plans, the most prominent being an Adirondak Glider, but the back is similar to that on the Arbor pictured above. I know it looks kinda strange, but my wife wanted it to kinda match the Arbor and the Adirondak style arms are the perfect size for holding that ice cold b***, I mean glass of iced tea. It's made of Pressure Treated Southern Yellow Pine and finished with Spar Polyurethane. I purchased the Adirondak Glider plans from Leichtung Workshops, the plans come with full size templates that require no measurements, just trace and cut. Step-by-Step instructions, materials list, and easy-to-follow cutting list are included. To order these plans, call 1-800-321-6840 and order Item #123273 - Adirondak Lawn Glider Templates. I also used the bench plan from the Garden Arbor above that I got from PlansNOW.
These are End Tables I made for our house. The tall one sits next to a rocker and the shorter one sits between our chairs. Made out of Oak, finished with Mahogony stain and High Gloss Polyurethane. I got the idea and general plans from the Workbench Magazine Issue No. 274. The article was about a Shaker Style Table complete with plans, tips for turning the pedestal on a router table, and finishing it using Aniline Dye. I followed the basics of the plan, but improvised here and there. I didn't turn the pedestal...instead I bought 15" and 21" French Country legs from Rockler-turned them upside down-and added the arched legs you see here using a sliding dovetail joint. The drawers are mounted so they can be opened from either side of the table, they just slide on L-shaped rails.
